On September 29-30, 2026, EmiControls participated in GesPaRec’s Fachtagung Altpapier, a conference dedicated to recovered paper. The event brought together professionals from the paper and recycling industries to exchange insights on industry developments, technical challenges and practical solutions.
In his presentation in Rüsselsheim, “Tailored firefighting solutions for recovered paper,” Bernd Riedmann from EmiControls explored the sector’s specific requirements and presented suitable approaches.
The following day, the technology was demonstrated in practice: at Moritz J. Weig GmbH & Co. KG in Mayen, our FT40 water mist turbine took centre stage alongside the FDS early fire detection system from Dresden-based DIAS Infrared GmbH. The live demonstration illustrated the process from automatic fire detection to targeted firefighting with water mist.
The demonstration also provided an opportunity to discuss potential applications, individual requirements and tailored solutions with our team.
