The Noris Entsorgung GmbH is now relying on state-of-the-art fire protection technology: An innovative extinguishing system with water mist turbines safeguards the newly constructed RDF hall in Hanover, Germany.

In the storage and production areas, five FT10e firefighting turbines, a conveyor belt extinguishing system, and three PYROsmart devices have been installed. This combination ensures early fire detection and highly efficient fire suppression – tailored precisely to the facility’s requirements.

The fire protection system, developed in cooperation between EmiControls and ORGLMEISTER Infrarot-Systeme GmbH, was officially approved on-site by an independent inspector without any objections. The system testing was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the VdS guidelines, guaranteeing the highest safety standards.

Already during the planning phase, the customer’s fire protection planner was closely involved. Based on the fire protection report, a comprehensive coverage of all relevant areas was ensured – fully compliant with the Lower Saxony Building Code and the German Industrial Building Directive.

An independent publicly appointed and sworn expert commissioned by Noris classified the installed automatic fire extinguishing system as superior to a conventional sprinkler system. With this decision, Noris Entsorgung GmbH has opted for a solution that not only complies with current regulations but also provides an additional level of safety and efficiency.
