Innovative fire protection solution in real-world operation

On October 7, 2025, EmiControls invited guests to a customer demonstration at Noris Entsorgung GmbH in Hanover, Germany. The focus was on the automatic extinguishing system with water mist turbines, which has been in successful operation for several years and was impressively presented in real-life operation on this day. The event offered guests a varied mix of technical presentations, technical insights, and a live demonstration on site.

State-of-the-art fire protection technology for EBS hall

The innovative extinguishing system protects the newly constructed EBS hall at Noris Entsorgung GmbH. In the storage and production area, five FT10e firefighting turbines, a belt extinguishing system, and three PYROsmart devices from ORGLMEISTER Infrarot-Systeme GmbH ensure rapid fire detection and efficient firefighting.

Technical presentations to kick things off

After welcoming around 60 guests at 10:30 a.m., the program began with a series of informative presentations:

• Construction project and reconstruction of the EBS hall – Matthias Redeker, Managing Director, Noris Entsorgung GmbH
• Use of extinguishing turbines in an automatic extinguishing system, taking into account construction and insurance law aspects – Markus Brill, Managing Director, BBT-Plan Brandschutztechnik GmbH
• Presentation of the automatic extinguishing system with turbines – Bernd Riedmann, EmiControls GmbH
• Implementation from planning to realization of the infrastructure – ZEWITECH, installation partner of EmiControls

Live demonstration with water test

The presentations were followed by a tour and demonstration of the extinguishing system with an impressive water test. Within seconds, the FT10e turbines produced a dense, finely atomized water pattern that effectively suppressed potential sources of fire. Although the system was activated manually during the event, it was clear how quickly and automatically it would respond in real-life operation.

The event underscored that modern fire protection is much more than just safety technology: with its combination of intelligent detection, automatic control, and powerful water mist technology, EmiControls is setting new standards for fire protection in industrial applications—innovative, sustainable, and trend-setting.
